Frequently Asked Questions

Click on any of the following questions to get an immediate answer.

What are the prices per class?

The price for one-week class registration is $250 per child.

How and when do I pay for classes?

FULL payment is due the TUESDAY of the week you’ve signed up for. We will have an area set up where you can submit payment.

NOTE: We DO NOT accept checks. We’ve had problems in the past with bad checks, and my bank charges me a fee.

Do you offer private lessons?

My instructors will starting mid June. More information to come later.

Where do we park when we arrive?

We have a large driveway and front yard, big enough for everyone to find a place to park their vehicle.

NOTE: Please do not park in front of mailboxes or on our neighbors’ lawns!

What ages do you teach?

Babies can learn to swim at a very young age. We teach 3 months old to 12 years old.

How long does each class last?

Each class will last about 50 minutes to an hour and will meet for 5 days (Monday – Friday).

How do I cancel a registration?

If you need to cancel, please send me an email ASAP to let me know. Every year, classes fill up and we have to start a wait-list. Please have respect for those parents who are on the waitlist and want lessons for their children by letting us know ahead of time that you need to cancel, because someone else is waiting for your spot.

If you cannot attend the class time that you originally sign up for, please let us know and we are happy to reschedule your child’s lesson based on availability.

How do I change to a different class time?

If you are looking to switch to a different class, you will need to cancel your registration first. Next, go through the registration process again for your selected class. Be sure to check how many spots are available whenever you select the class date and time on the registration form. Remember that classes are available on a “first come, first serve” basis. If the number next to (or below) your chosen class time is a “Zero” then that class is considered full and will no longer accept new registrations.

Do I need to be in the pool with my child during the lesson?

An adult has to participate, only if the child is under age 4, so the babies parents need to listen and learn the safety skills to reinforce when the child can actually comprehend this information.

Due to COVID-19 precautions, if your child is over age 4, you are not allowed to stay on-site and watch lessons Monday-Thursday. On Friday, the final day of lessons, you are welcome to bring whoever you want to watch lessons so your child can show you everything they’ve learned over the week.

Will class still meet if it's raining?

We WILL have classes unless it’s pouring rain or lightning. If it’s only rain, I will turn up the heater. Many thunderstorms are over in 15 minutes which may put our schedule a little late. If lessons are canceled due to inclement weather, it will be posted on our Facebook page.
